Who I see

Adults rebuilding after a change to the brain or body

01

Traumatic brain injury

From concussion with lingering symptoms to severe TBI — including people well past the acute phase who are still working out what's changed.

02

Stroke & cerebrovascular events

Changes in attention, memory, language, processing speed, and emotional regulation after stroke or other vascular injury.

03

Spinal cord injury

Cognitive screening for co-occurring brain injury, and adjustment to a new body, new routines, and new roles.

04

Dementia & memory concerns

Older adults and families noticing changes in memory or thinking — clarifying what's normal aging, what isn't, and what to do next.

05

Chronic illness & medical complexity

The cognitive and emotional side of living with multiple or long-standing conditions — often the part no one has had time to address.

06

Families & referring professionals

Clear explanations and concrete strategies for care partners at home, and a clear cognitive picture for physicians, therapists, and case managers guiding care.

What I do

Services

Comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation

A clinical interview, record review, and standardized testing of attention, memory, language, visual-spatial skills, reasoning, and mood — interpreted in the context of your injury or illness, your history, and your goals.

Dementia & memory assessments

Evaluation of memory and thinking changes to help distinguish normal aging, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia — and to identify contributing factors such as mood, medications, or medical conditions. Results support diagnosis, care and safety planning, and decisions about independence.

Feedback & rehabilitation planning

A dedicated session to walk through results in plain language, with written recommendations for daily life, treatment, and returning to work, school, or independent living.

Consultation with care teams

Collaboration with your physicians, therapists, and case managers so everyone is working from the same picture.

Med-legal & independent evaluations

Objective neuropsychological evaluations for attorneys, insurers, and case managers, including:

  • Independent neuropsychological examinations (IMEs)
  • Medical and neuropsychological record review
  • Consultation on brain injury and cognitive outcomes

Telehealth

Intake interviews, feedback sessions, and consultation can be done by secure video for clients located in Nebraska. Standardized testing is typically completed in person.

My approach

Trauma-informed. Honest. From both sides of the bed.

I have spent time as the patient, so I know what it's like to feel rushed, dismissed, or reduced to a chart. Evaluations here are paced, collaborative, and trauma-informed — you'll understand why we're doing each step, and you'll leave with answers you can actually use.

Getting started
